We thought it would be kind of fun to share some of the things
happening to our farm.  Hope you enjoy this.

Let us know if you have ideas to improve this website.

Welcome to 2009 !!

Holy crap it is cold here.  This morning it is -2 without
the windchill.   Supposed to be very cold the next
couple of days so kick on the heaters.

Got the information for the Triple Crown show.  The
dates are March 20-21 and we are planning to go at
this time.  Not sure which animals we are going to
take yet.   hmmmmmm.

Well bummer.....there were not enough entrants for
the Triple Crown Show and they had to cancel the
show.  That really bites because we like that show a
lot.  Penny does a great job and the people are so
nice.  Well, hopefully next year it will be back on.

Heather and I decided that the little boys are pretty
good and we need to get them to a show this spring.
We decided to go to the Buckeye in Columbus the
weekend of May 2nd-3rd.   Wish us luck.

Worked outside with the animals today to get some
updated pictures.  We are going to run a little sale in
April.

Our theory is that we need to make sure others are
getting into this great business during these tough
times.  We are reducing prices on several of the
animals for sale.

We are also allowing 50% off for breedings booked
in April to either Lassiter or Excyter.

Off we went to the Buckeye Alpaca Show in
Columbus Ohio.   We like the May time frame for this
show as the weather is much nicer for us.

The reason I am smiling is that we took two first
place ribbons, a fourth and a sixth.   Four out of five
animals placed in the show which is really good at
this particular show.  There were over 800 animals.

Click the picture to see more shots from the show.

Mia Rose is born to our farm.  She is a spunky little
thing and she likes to jump around a lot.  A light fawn
little beauty.   Named for my Grandmother and my
Aunt.

Check her out on the girls page.

This is Houston.  He came to the farm from his Mom
Alita.  He is gray, but we are not sure if it will be
Rose-Gray or Silver-Gray.

We will be waiting to see.
